Our Girls
Our girls will be loved, mentored and educated with a integrated approach of care. Through counseling, discipleship, tutoring, physical education, pre-natal education and more we want to provide a holistic approach as these young girls come into Kharis House. They will continue their schooling onsite while they are pregnant and nursing their babies so that they are not falling behind in their education. When fully prepared emotionally and physically they will return to one of our school partners.
Our Young Moms
After our young mothers have come home from the hospital with their baby we will continue to provide the same care with the added responsibility of teaching and mentoring them as they bond with their baby. Through mentoring and education our young mothers will begin to learn to care for their family. They will continue their education onsite with our tutor while nursing and attaching with their child. When physically and emotionally ready they will return to our partner schools.
Our Babies
Our babies will be cared for by their young mothers with the careful mentoring and oversight of our house mommas. The babies will be given excellent medical care, nutrition and enrichment. While their mothers are at school they will be provided a quality daycare environment with a dedicated and trained daycare/preschool teacher and education.
